Cortisone Shots And Throat Infections Are These Symptoms Familiar?

Are these symptoms familiar? - cortisone shots and throat infections

Recently I've thought of something that happened in January. Years after a small New meeting, where I somewhat questionable, flew abroad in order to have dinner with a friend. I began to feel sick, but assumed it was something I ate.

However, I found myself in bed for two days, literally, can not eat anything except water and chamomile tea. I felt disgusted me horribly, but no vomiting and no fever. On the third day I had the opportunity to bite a piece of bread and does not require food poisoning, but later something strange happened.

My kind of neck swollen and I felt like I was strange to have these painful contractions. She could still breathe with difficulty, but eventually became so bad he could hardly speak as my throat was swollen and pushed my language class. I was taken to a hospital and gave me a cortisone injection, but without success and have no known allergies. In the end, I have a muscle relaxant, which is a stopwhile. Then it started again and took me to another hospital, examined, but the doctor said it was nothing more than a little acid in the stomach is possible. Until then, it was even worse, could not speak, and roll my eyes at the back of the head. But this time he said it was a reaction to the medicine they gave me from the hospital!

Finally, he calmed down and went home, too tired to do anything else. All this has happened over a period of eight hours. I fell asleep and when I woke up, everything was well with my neck, but he made a weak, recovering from the nausea.

I flew home early and went to my doctor could not diagnose what the hell was it. I wonder any of you heard? Some rare species of virus, or what?
